Is it getting cold in here?
That's what your pipes will be asking when they meet up with our GFI after cooler.
Knowing that very often discharge temperatures reach more than the piping can handle, the recent addition of a new cooler systme has cured any issues with heat. Built specially for the Gas Hog, it is a forced air heat exchanger designed to cool 500 Mcf. (14 e3m3) of gas from 285°F to 105°F. Field testing has so far proven a 200°F drop in temperature. The fan motor is run by a hydraulic pump driven by the compressor engine and the speed can be adjusted or stopped completely, based on individual requirements. Manual bypass is available for our Alberta winters when cooling just might not be as necessary... |
